Bristol Survivors Network

Bristol Survivors Network is a group of people with lived experience of mental health difficulties, campaigning to improve mental health services.   The groups also:

  • discuss mental health issues
  • hold social meetings
  • comment about documents and reports
  • send representatives to mental health meetings

Please note – they do not offer a counselling or crisis service.

Ara Recovery For All

Ara is a major provider of supported housing services in Bristol as a partner in the Recovery Orientated Alcohol and Drugs Service (ROADS), and has an extensive and expanding service providing counselling and support for problem gamblers.

Bristol Sanctuary

Bristol Sanctuary is a place to go when you are in serious emotional distress. They aim to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment where you can take stock and find some balance.

Many Minds

Many Minds is a Bristol-based charity that facilitates creative spaces, performances, and workshops for and by people with experience of mental ill-health.

Hope Project

The Hope Project provides short-term emotional and practical support for men aged 30-64 who are in psychological distress or have recently self-harmed.
