Freedom is a gender and sexuality social action project from OTR Bristol & South Glos. The Freedom Youth project provides social, informative, and safe supportive group sessions to young people aged 13-19, and the Freedom project provides a support, advice, and social opportunities for young people aged 19-25. All sessions take place online.


Galop are a LGBT+ anti-abuse charity, providing support to LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence. They provide helplines, advocacy, online support communities, and dedicated services for LGBT+ children and young people.

Gendered Intelligence

Gendered Intelligence offer information and resources for trans+ people, and a dedicated support line for the patients of the Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health and Sheffield Porterbrook clinics.


GenderGP provides advocacy, support, advice, healthcare and access to a range of complementary services for transgender people.


Hidayah are a charity providing support, mentoring, and social connection opportunities to LGBTQI+ Muslims.


Mermaids supports transgender, non-binary, and gender-diverse youth and their families, up to their 20th birthday, and offers webchat support to gender-diverse students up to the age of 25.

Mindline Trans+

Mindline Trans+ is a UK-wide confidential emotional support and signposting helpline for people who identify as transgender, non-binary, or otherwise gender-diverse and their families and friends. The service is provided by Bristol Mind and Mind in Somerset, and is staffed by listeners with lived experience of being trans+.


MindOut is an LGBTQ+ mental health service providing information, resources, and emotional support. In-person services are provided in Brighton and Hove, and online services are available nationwide.


TranzWiki is a directory of non-commercial groups and organisations supporting or assisting transgender and gender-diverse people and their families and friends across the UK.
