1625 Independent People

1625 Independent People is a charity that supports young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. They find secure homes, teach life-skills, offer advice, help access training and job opportunities, and have a specific service for unaccompanied asylum seeking children.

akt supports LGBTQIA+ young people in the uk experiencing homelessness or living in hostile environments to find safe homes, employment, education or training, and to celebrate their identities in order to improve their life outcomes.

Ara Recovery For All

Ara is a major provider of supported housing services in Bristol as a partner in the Recovery Orientated Alcohol and Drugs Service (ROADS), and has an extensive and expanding service providing counselling and support for problem gamblers.

Bath Mind

Bath Mind offer a range of services and support to people living in Bath and North East Somerset, including befriending, counselling, community groups, a crisis helpline, and practical support.

Please note that these services are only available in Bath and North East Somerset, and Bristol Mind is a separate organisation offering different services.

Brandon Trust

The Brandon Trust exists to enable children, young people and adults with learning disabilities and autism to live life in the way they choose, by providing high-quality, individualised support that focuses on enabling people to achieve their dreams and truly live free.

Services are available in various locations across the UK, including Bristol, Gloucestershire, South Glos, B&NES, North Somerset, and Wiltshire.

Brandon Trust are a member of the Bristol Hate Crime and Discrimination Service.

Brigstowe

Brigstowe work to support people with long-term health conditions, including HIV and AIDS, with a range of advice services and peer support. Dedicated services are also available for migrants and asylum seekers living with HIV.

Bristol Law Centre

Bristol Law Centre is a charity providing free information and legal advice on specialist areas of social welfare law to people who could not otherwise afford access to justice, as well as representing these clients in court.

Missing Link

Missing Link is a mental health and housing service for women in Bristol, providing support to women who are homeless, at risk of homelessness due to mental health issues, or victims of domestic abuse.

Next Link

Next Link is part of Missing Link Mental Health Services, providing specific support services for women who are experiencing domestic abuse. Services include safe houses, crisis response, outreach, and helplines.

Shire Advice Service

Shire Advice Service provides information, advice, and advocacy covering welfare benefits, debt, housing, employment rights, consumer issues and family issues to people in the Shirehampton area of Bristol.

St Mungo’s

St Mungo’s offer a range of services for people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or have been homeless. Services include accommodation, one-to-one support, employment support, and online wellbeing and learning opportunities.

St Pauls Advice Centre

St Pauls Advice Centre offers free advice on financial matters, employment, housing, immigration, and a number of other matters to the people of St Pauls. Legal advice, and advice in languages other than English, are also available.

YMCA

YMCA England and Wales support young people with issues like housing and homelessness, health and wellbeing, and information and advice.
