Community
Wellspring Settlement have an event called Social Space Thursdays from 10am to 1pm. It is an opportunity to meet new people and make friends. No appointment needed.

Borderlands – Have a social space from 11am to 2pm on a Tuesday. They have board games, an art table and laptops available.

Welcome Hubs – offer resettlement support through a weekly rhythm of daytime and evening activities in a community space. They are in 16 locations across Bristol and offer resettlement support as well as coffee mornings and child support.
English Classes
Borderlands – offers free English classes on a Monday and Tuesday (you have to be referred) but can email sara@borderlands.org.uk to find out more.
Refugee Women of Bristol – offers free English classes. Go to their website to contact them for information. For women only.
Oxford International Education Group – offers two free English language courses to displaced people and those fleeing the war in Ukraine taught through the OI Digital Institute: English for culture and English for business
Babbel – is an online language learning platform that offers free self-study lessons to those who speak Ukrainian – the courses offer native Ukrainian speakers the opportunity to learn German, Polish or English.
Translating
Translators for Ukraine has a regularly updated list of volunteer translators and interpreters who can help with applications.
