This section is for Ukrainian Hosts and offers advice on training and support services available to Hosts.

Before Guests Arrive

If you have a guest who’s arrived, let the council know so they can organise a visit by emailing – and can make sure they are supported properly.

The Ukrainian Institute London will be setting up tailored Ukrainian classes for individuals hosting Ukrainian refugees. These classes will take place in person in London and online. You can register your interest by emailing with the subject line ‘Ukrainian for hosts.’

The Sanctuary Foundation has a list of resources to help prepare for hosting babies and children. They are also supporting potential sponsors, and assisting the government in the roll-out of the ‘Homes For Ukraine’ scheme.

Once Guests have Arrived

Welcome Hubs – also offer support and resources for Ukrainian hosts. They offer in person and zoom training classes as well as monthly drop ins.
