We welcome both positive and constructive feedback about our services because it helps us to continue doing what we’re doing well and make changes where we could do better. We try to respond to all our feedback, and whilst it’s not always possible to make alterations or do things differently, we do take all suggestions very seriously and have introduced changes as a result of what you have told us!
You said – We did.
Here are some examples of where you’ve got in touch and we’ve listened, from 2024-2026:
Our counsellors asked for more suitable and comfortable counselling rooms:
So, we refurbished our counselling rooms to try and create a comfortable space as possible.
Our clients ask for more flexible hours for sessions:
We understand that our clients have busy lives and commitments can be a challenge for those seeking counselling. So, we added additional time on a Wednesday evening for sessions to be offered to be more accommodating for our community.
Our counsellors wanted to control the temperature in each of their rooms:
So we purchased new heaters and fans for the changing seasons.
A service user mentioned our phone line volunteers would benefit from being more informed about perimenopause and the effects it can have on someone’s mental health:
So, we invited Mothers for Mothers to come and deliver specialised training on how to further support our service users.
