Staff and Volunteers
Bristol Mind is a team of dedicated professionals and volunteers with a passion for inclusive and accessible mental health and wellbeing.
Together, we have the collective lived experience, professional training and skills to support people with a wide range of mental health and wellbeing needs – from telephone listening, to 121 counselling, to community wellbeing and training offers.
Our Counselling Team consists of 35 qualified practitioners and supervisors, with dedicated trainees completing placements with accredited courses. We include specific lived-experience counsellors for LGBTQIA+ and Neurodivergent clients. Counsellors are well supported via clinical supervision, regular staff meetings and routes through to employment opportunities as they arise in-house.
Our 35 Mindline Telephone Service Volunteers are selected from over 100 applications per year, given an in-depth 6-week training and supported via team debriefs, safeguarding protocols and reflective practice sessions.
Our team of 20 staff work closely together from delivery, through to administration and management, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all our services with a focus on high quality support for our beneficiaries.
