Bristol Mind’s Blue Monday Comedy Night is back for 2026 to raise money for the essential mental health and wellbeing services we provide to communities in Bristol.
Blue Monday might not be real, but the laughs will be! The comedy night aims to tackle those January Blues by providing a room of laughter with critically acclaimed comedians.
Local comedian, podcaster, mental health and climate change speaker Stuart Goldsmith will be returning to host this year’s event! Struart has been our faithful compere for 4 years, providing sharp observational comedy, fresh off his award-winning Spoilers tour.

The 2024 Winner of the Sean Lock Comedy Award, Harriet also adds to her accolades the founding of mental health comedy night ‘Barking Tales’ as well as her debut book ‘Bipolar Comedian’. Harriet has a deep understanding of living with mental health.
She’s featured on ‘8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown’ (C4), Sarah Millican’s ‘Elephant in the Room’ on BBC Radio 4, Russell Howard & Friends, and Jon Richardson & Friends (both on stage). Her comedy has been regularly featured on BBC Radio 4 Extra.
Riki Msindo, is a comedian and podcast host from Zimbabwe, now based in Bristol.
Winner of the 2023 Chortle Student Comedy Award and Best Up-And-Coming Comedian – Skiddle 2024, Riki says he loves to make people laugh, as well as practising medicine.
Hailing from Merthyr Tydfil, Morgan Rees is a comedian, actor and writer working behind the camera on programmes such as Mock the Week, The Great American Joke-Off, 8 Out of 10 Cats and co-writing on the internet sensation, Uncle Roger.
Morgan is an established queer voice in UK comedy, MCing and headlining comedy clubs across the UK.
Another Bristol local, Amy Mason, has found herself becoming a viral sensation with over 20 million views on TikTok, particularly with her ‘Types of School Mums you meet in Bristol’ series.
Amy’s debut hour, FREE MASON, toured nationally in 2025 after an acclaimed run at Edinburgh Fringe. A Funny Woman finalist, Amy has multiple TV projects in development with production companies, has written and performed two monologues for Radio 4 and has written for The News Quiz and Hypothetical (Dave). She has made 3 autobiographical shows with Bristol Old Vic and in 2014 won the Dundee International Book Prize with her novel The Other Ida.
