Bristol Mind attended a recent workshop in Bristol held by the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA). The inquiry has been set up to investigate past and present failings by institutions to protect children from sexual abuse. It is the largest ever public inquiry in the UK and is independent of the government. One of the parts of the inquiry is called ‘The Truth Project’. The Truth Project has been set up to enable victims and survivors to report their experiences in a safe, private and confidential environment.
