Kinergy

Kinergy is a specialist counselling agency offering long-term counselling, group therapy and support groups for survivors of sexual abuse, sexual violence and rape.

Kinergy supports transgender, male and female survivors over 16 years of age.

 

Safe Link

We provide support for anyone (women, men and children) who has been the victim of rape and sexual abuse across the whole Avon and Somerset area. We also provide women’s mental health and domestic abuse support services.

Stop It Now!

Stop it Now! is a child sexual abuse prevention campaign, providing information and support through their freephone confidential helpline and website. Their helpline is available toadults worried about the behaviour of other adults or children and young people and those worried about their own sexual thoughts or behaviour towards children, including those with concerns about their online behaviour.

The Bridge

The Bridge is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre and they offer medical care, emotional and psychological support, and practical help to anyone who has been raped or sexually assaulted.

It doesn’t matter when you were assaulted, where it happened or who did it – we’ll listen to your experience and help you to get the support you choose.

The Southmead Project

The Southmead Project is a registered charity providing free therapeutic and practical support to adults who were abused as children and have turned to drugs, alcohol and other ways of self-harming as a consequence of that trauma.

Based in North Bristol the charity provides one-one counselling as well as group programmes for survivors of child abuse and trauma, is active in research; runs very successful group programmes for parents, carers and concerned others of those affected by addiction, and delivers training programmes in abuse, addiction and disclosure across the UK.
