Outreach Advocacy Drop-ins Resume – 5th January 2021

Our Advocacy Drop-ins will be open again on Tuesday 5th January 2021 from 11am to 2pm at our offices (35 Old Market Street, Bristol, BS2 0EZ). The Drop-in will be COVID-secure and is operating in line with updated government guidance, exempt from the current lockdown as a charitable activity.
At our Drop-ins you can meet with an advocate, discuss your issues with them and they may be able to do something on the spot such as phone someone on your behalf or refer you to a specialist service.  One of our Volunteer Advocates may also be able to do some “one-off” casework with you after the Drop-in.  Unfortunately we have a waiting list for more long term “on-going” advocacy work.
Due to COVID-19, we will only be able to see one person at a time and will run an appointment system.  If you arrive while another client is being seen, you will be given a time to return. Unfortunately, you will not be able to wait in the office. You will be asked to wear a face covering (if you do not have your own, one will be provided) and must not attend if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been asked to self-isolate.
If you can’t make it to the Drop-in, or do not feel comfortable, you are still welcome to access the Outreach Advocacy service by phone or email.
Please see the Outreach Advocacy page for contact details and more information about the service.
