“I think the best thing for keeping my mental health on track is music. Music has that positive power that is almost difficult to describe – how certain melodies, chords, lyrics and sound frequencies come together to make you feel a certain way.

“And not just listening to music, but playing an instrument (any instrument) is profoundly uplifting, I forget all worries and am simply in the moment. If you play with other people all the better! You get that unsaid sense of community between you that is communicated through playing music and enjoying it together. It can be, in my opinion, far more powerful than words can convey.”
