We’re excited to announce our new ambassador! Herbie Kane is a Bristol born footballer. He plays for Liverpool but is currently on loan at Hull City. Herbie has also played for England and Doncaster Rovers. Herbie is passionate about Mental Health because he has seen and come across people who have struggled with their mental health and he wants to help. “Everyone should try to reach out and get help. Talk to people, maybe a close family member or a friend, it might even be someone you don’t know.”
By becoming a Bristol Mind ambassador, he hopes to spread the message that there is no shame in addressing mental health problems and talking about them. Kane will be pivotal for Bristol Mind in helping us raising awareness of our local services and by working with us on specific projects. Furthermore, he will help us reach new audiences and help us encourage people to be open to conversations, or to seek help when necessary.
