Samaritans (Bristol): 0117 983 1000 (24/7) and their drop-in runs from 07:30-21:00 at 37 St Nicholas Street, BS1 1TP
SANELine: 0300 304 7000. Mental Health helpline offering specialist emotional support, guidance and information to anyone affected by mental illness, including family, friends and carers. Open every day of the year from 16:30-22:30.
Women’s Crisis House: 0117 924 6459. Alternative to psychiatric admission for women who are experiencing a mental health crisis for up to four weeks, dependent on vacancies. Open 24/7 including Christmas period.
Men’s Crisis House: 0117 934 9848. Open 24/7 including Christmas period for men experiencing mental health problems where hospital admission might be the only other alternative available. Access is dependent on availability.
Christmas at UWE Bristol: Campuses will be closed from 16:30 on Friday 21 December 2018 and will re-open from 08:30 on Thursday 3 January 2019. Most services will be unavailable during this time, but some areas will remain open and we’ll be running events on campus every day. See this webpage for details
