Perinatal mental health
Bristol MindLine are now working in partnership with Mothers for Mothers to offer a weekend out-of-hours telephone support service for women, their partners, families and friends that have experienced, anxiety, depression and/or isolation during pregnancy or after birth.
We can also refer callers into other Mothers for Mothers services, such as home visits, support groups and counselling. If you would like to find out more about other Mothers for Mothers services you can ring the helpline, visit their website or email asking for more information (emails are monitored during office hours Mon-Fri)
When is this service available?
Mothers for Mothers already operates a well established telephone support service, Mondays-Fridays, 9:30am-9pm
Bristol MindLine support this service on Saturday and Sunday nights, 8pm-midnight
Call are charged at local rate if calling from landline within Bristol and standard rate from mobile. You may get free calls to some numbers as part of your call package with your phone provider. We suggest you check with your phone provider if you want to check the cost of the call before calling us.

Help promote our service
Download our REACH flyer and stick it up in your local library, pub, GP, public notice board… anything you can do to help promote this service will only help to get the word out to more people who may need that extra space to talk and the emotional support the helpline can bring.
