Meeting Minds Without Borders
Meeting Minds Without Borders is a free counselling service for adult male Asylum Seekers and Refugees who live in Bristol. We aim to provide a safe and confidential space where individuals experiencing mental and emotional distress can come to talk about their feelings.
Sessions are 50 mins long, and will be with a qualified counsellor. They will take place every week, on the same day and at the same time. Due to COVID-19, the sessions will be by phone. All clients will have an Initial Assessment first, to assess their suitability for counselling, and if English is not your first language, we can help with an interpreter.
What is Counselling?
You will meet with the same person every week who will listen and support you with difficult thoughts and sad feelings: talking to someone about what you are thinking and feeling can help, and the counsellor can also talk with you about different ways that might help you to feel better.
