We are really looking forward to getting into the festive spirit with the Bristol Phoenix Choir on Saturday 8 December for their annual Christmas concert at Tyndale Baptist Church in Clifton.
In addition to wonderful Christmas carols there will also be two choruses from Handel’s Messiah and some yummy festive refreshments during the interval.
The Bristol Phoenix Choir, founded in 1963, is a friendly choir of about 70 members with a wide range of ages and musical backgrounds. The choir gives at least three concerts each year in a variety of venues in and around Bristol. Our recent repertoire has included established classics such as Handel’s Coronation Anthems, Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Te Deum, Mozart Requiem, CPE Bach Magnificat and Dvorak Mass in D.
We are delighted that the Phoenix Choir have chosen to support Bristol Mind during the 2018-19 season and some Bristol Mind staff will be coming along to enjoy the music and to receive any donations that may be made on the evening.
