Perinatal mental health
Starting on Saturday 7th April 2018, Bristol MindLine will be offering a weekend out-of-hours telephone support service for women, their partners, families and friends that have experienced, anxiety, depression and/or isolation during pregnancy or after birth.
Bristol MindLine are delighted to be working in partnership with Mothers for Mothers to deliver this extended service to the local community.
When is this service available?
Mothers for Mothers already operates a well established telephone support service, Mondays-Fridays, 9:30am-9pm
From 7th April 2018, Bristol MindLine will be delivering this service on Saturday and Sunday nights, 8pm-midnight
Call are charged at local rate if calling from landline within Bristol and standard rate from mobile. You may get free calls to some numbers as part of your call package with your phone provider. We suggest you check with your phone provider if you want to check the cost of the call before calling us.
If you are a good listener, both caring and compassionate, who wants to make a positive difference to someone’s life and you are able to commit to at least 2 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months, then please visit our volunteering page to find out more about volunteering for Reach.

Download our REACH flyer and stick it up in your local library, pub, GP, public notice board… anything you can do to help promote this service will only help to get the word out to more people who may need that extra space to talk and the emotional support the helpline can bring.
