MindLine telephone helpline
Volunteers get full training and then work on a rota basis answering calls. Shifts are Wednesday to Sunday, 7pm to 11pm.

Volunteers get full training and then work on a rota basis answering calls on Mondays and Wednesdays, 8pm to midnight.

Information Service Volunteers
Volunteers on our Information Service provide invaluable support dealing with telephone enquiries, responding to requests for information and listening to and supporting callers. Volunteers work at least one 3 1/2 hour shift a week, between 9:30am-1pm or 12:30pm-4pm and undertake a 4 day course of training prior to commencement of work.

Counselling Placements
Our low-cost counselling service is provided by a mix of qualified counsellors and those in the final stages of their training. We have a limited number of placements available throughout the year. If you are a counselling student looking for a placement, or a qualified counsellor looking to volunteer, you should contact our counselling service directly.
