Volunteer for us

You can volunteer to work on our MindLine telephone helpline, or on our MindLine Trans+, or as an advocate helping people get their views heard, or in our office dealing with enquiries. We could not provide our services without the continued commitment of volunteers.

Advocacy – speaking up for people

Advocates help people speak up for what they want and need, complain about services and have their views heard. It is a much required service to individuals in the community.

Advocates need to be confident enough to work with a wide range of people.

Information and Office Volunteers

Information and Office volunteers provide invaluable support dealing with telephone enquiries, responding to requests for information and listening and supporting callers. Volunteers work at least one 3 1/2 hour shift a week, between 9:30 am-1pm  and undertake a 3 day course of training prior to commencement of work.
